As every year, we’ve been working in a theatre project. In that occasion, we’ve selected an adaptation of a Mark Twain’s novel. A Yankee in King Arthur’s Court is a modern play about one of the most famous books ever written. It is a funny way to show students a bit of culture and a lot of English. In fact, it is a complementary experience that gives the opportunity to improve the learning of the English language.

Learning is Fun!!!

El dia 2 de desembre els alumnes de Cicle Inicial vam anar a veure una obra de teatre en anglès titulada “The Ugly Duckling”.

Sí, es tracta del famós conte de l’aneguet lleig, però amb una versió quelcom especial, però que bàsicament tractava la mateixa temàtica del conte tradicional.

“The ugly duckling” rebutjat per la seva família  busca un lloc on les diferències siguin acceptades i on ell pugui ser feliç.

Nosaltres ens ho vam passar d’allò més bé, ja que vam gaudir de l’espectacle, vam cantar les cançons que ja havíem treballat a l’aula i, en finalitzar l’actuació els actors van xerrar una estoneta amb tots nosaltres.

Per cert!!! També ens van posar a prova preguntat-nos paraules en anglès. Com que havíem estat molt atents i ens va agradar molt, vam encertar totes les preguntes!!!!!

Tal i com ja sabeu aquest curs tenim nous personatges que ens acompanyaran a l’hora de treballar la llengua estrangera. Que ens ajudaran aprendre moltes paraules en anglès i que a més, ens proposen activitats divertides que podem realitzar a l’ordinador des de l’escola amb la “teacher”, des de casa amb la família  i…  mica en mica solets.
